1. Information we collect

We may collect:

• Contact details you provide, such as an email address for availability updates, newsletters, or other messages you request.
• Submissions you choose to send, such as skin or role ideas, related text, and optional reference images.
• Feedback activity, such as votes on skins. Some of this may be stored on your device; some may be stored by us if voting is saved to our systems.
• Account or interest records if you sign in or add a skin to your watchlist.
• Technical and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location derived from IP, collected automatically by the Site or our hosting provider.

We do not ask you to provide payment card details on the current Site. Do not submit sensitive personal information (for example, government IDs or health data) through our forms.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• operate, maintain, and improve the Site and ROBOSKINS skins;
• count votes and review suggested skins or roles;
• send availability updates or other messages you request;
• respond to inquiries and provide support;
• protect the Site, prevent abuse, and comply with law;
• analyze aggregate interest in skins and categories.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

3. How we share information

We may share information with service providers who help us host the Site, send email, or analyze usage, under obligations to use it only for those services. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of our business or assets.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for behavioral advertising across different services.

The Site and our providers may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember preferences such as votes, and understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect Site features.

5. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to maintain watchlists, review Submissions, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We may retain aggregated information or information that can no longer identify you.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

8. California privacy notice

If you are a California resident, this section is a notice at collection. We collect the categories in Section 1: identifiers (such as email and IP address), internet or electronic activity, and inferences drawn from feedback (such as interest in a skin). We collect them for the purposes in Section 2. We do not sell personal information or share it for behavioral advertising across different services.

Subject to legal limits, you may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, email admin@roboskins.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent as permitted by law.

9. International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
